Florida freeze did some damage to my tomato, had it under a quilt too. will it bounce back?

    Nope.

    Has like a 5% chance if you remove all the fruit.

    Just try saving the fruit, see if it ripens and free that garden space for something else.

    That plant is toast.

    I had this happen a few months back, the plant tried to push through but died.

    Don’t toss it just yet; tomatoes are very resilient. Last year, my plants received several battering from severe winds… lots of broken branches. I tied some back up, even repaired with masking tape 😊 and all plants survived. Ever so gently, stake up what you can then give it a nice treat of fish emulsion.
