Two years of nothing except peaceful settling. Rabdom sprout of little cute creatures. What are they?

Hard to get photos since the glass is dirty and my handheld microscope camera can only get so clear. Ostracods?

Random water we found outside in northern-ish Arizona a few days after storm. It was so green and funky for so long and we noticed the stop started settling, and a clear water was replacing it, that took the span of maybe a year alone. We never saw any movement or any change for the entire two years until recently.
