Black Solider fly Larvae, literally speeds up the composting

Black soldier flies, in low abundance they will help composting, in high abundance they can outcompete worms and create conditions too hot for them. either way they will disperse in autumn and disappear by winter.
Pick some of the black soldier flies out and make it lower than what you’ve got and then you should be fine. They actually help with the soil.
