Need help: installed drain to help with flooding in yard
Is there any type of screen I can install in front of the cement/drain area to catch the dirt/pebbles from going in or should I just stick with the rock and place more in the front again ?
this should have been a catch basin and not a cover for a pipe- that would have given you an option to clean periodically- now you will have to direct the water through stone to stop the debris but it wont capture everything

I think you can put a mesh screen on it.

You could cover the whole thing with river stone, or at least all around ,it might keep the dirt and smaller stones down

I put some 1’x1’ concrete pavers on top of mine. Still allows water through but sifts out the debris
