I have this low and dead spot in my lawn. Should I use sod or st Augustine plugs to fill this back in. If I did sod how would I got about making it level with the rest of the yard?

A few pieces of sod will do it. Just shovel/level the dirt out to sit flush. It’s just labor.
Also, you need to kill the nutsedge and other weeds. I recommend Image controls nutsedge
