Norfolk purple tomato advise

Norfolk purple tomato help/advice

Hello! First time tomato planter here. I planted these norfolk purple tomato from seedlings and ended up transferring to this self-water tower and they took off tremendously (grew over 6 feet tall and ended up titling over with the last harvest: pictured)

I'm guessing, after initial online research, that I'm at the end of season for these tomatoes. According to most of the Internet, she has to be removed from the root and something else planted in her place?

I'm not sure if that's the rule of thumb for an outdoor tomato plant living in a northern climate where frost bite kills the plant but I'm in south Texas and can keep her indoors now. But to be fair, she's kinda ugly but still my baby and IDK what to do 😂

I attempted to cut back the branches that fruited and they look dead (pictured)

Any advice? Have y'all grown tomatoes in something like this?

If I do remove her, what should I put in next?

Ultimately, I don't think the Norfolk variety was a good choice here because they can grow very tall and is too tall for this planter (and me).
