I got this pot of aloinopsis schooneesii the other day. I’d love to see any of yours that have the caudex bulb above ground.
I’d like to expose the bulb so any advice would be very welcome. It’s in a good gritty mix already, I got it from a private nursery. It will be about 7-9 inches under a barrina t5 and puck lights.

My understanding is that you should expose it very gradually. My experience is that I basically killed it by lifting it before i had had it long enough to know what it needed.
