trying to make a raised bed on the cheap..have a ton of bricks and stones and determination..it's on a slant..want it even before i build up..afraid it's going to cave in..any help appreciated
You can’t stack pavers very high and have them stay in place – 2 maybe 3 layers max. Pavers are to pave a patio or driveway not stack up.
The other limestone and wall bricks are what you’d use. You’ll need to either put a base of gravel or bury the first course and build from there. Dry stacking limestone can work but I’d lay it tipped back on a slight angle, and make sure to put landscape fabric behind it to hold in dirt but lets water freely escape. Limestone looks great (I have it too), but even with doing above it will still move on you. Building out of the wall blocks where they lock in together will last longer most likely.
