I don’t think you need to or should repot unless you really want to ! I have kept mine in the soil and pot from Lowe’s for years and they grow beautifully! Water when dry and let it go through the pot without it standing in water, give a nice bright area or full sun and watch it grow! If you can, also feed it a fertilizer (Miracle Gro All-Purpose is good for a first plant and beginners). Follow instructions on box! Good luck 👍🏻
