very sorry for the bad pics its very small hard to take pics the rootstock is a no id while the top is a pancho its stuck on quite well and there are visible lines of new growth towards rootstock but it turned completely black been under a think mesh as a substitute for graft tape uncovered if for first time since December 26th

Looks dead.
She’s dead unfortunately. Just cause it stuck doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work unfortunately. I’ve had lophs stick and stay plump but they just refuse to actually grow. I think it’s maybe because the growth rings didn’t intersect properly. Grab yourself some stretchy medical bandages and retry. Had the most success with those as they’re breathable and can get pretty tight

I had one do the same thing. Itll probably be a little rotten at that dead spot. You’ll probably need to cut off a good half inch and sulfur it. The longer it stays on, the worse it is for the stock.
