I recall decades ago standing above giant sewer lagoons in The New Territories, Hong Kong. Every piece of surface had multicoloured balloons bobbing about.
I used to buy proven winners plants from local garden centers/Home Depot, but found that because of inconsistent/poor watering while they had been out on the shop floor, I often got them when they were already stressed out. When I buy from proven winners direct the plants have not had to go through a period of days or weeks with bad watering schedules/being allowed to become repeatedly overly dry, so they perform better all season long ❤ I started buying proven winners plants because of this channel, and because you have showcased repeatedly how well their plants perform. Thank you so much!
Shade tree??? We had GREAT SUCCESS with a Willow Oak. Gets BIG fast and leaf drop is not offensive. Beautiful shape. Awesome shade. If it grows in ur area that would be a winner to replace your redbud that Aaron killed!!! 😢😂😂😂
Great recap today! Wanted to suggest Magnolia Table cookbooks by Joanna Gaines for a good read. I literally read Volumes 1 & 2 cover to cover in one sitting (each). Turns out I’m not as much into cooking/baking as I’d hoped, but I still keep those and read them from time to time. The other one I read is a cookbook my mother used from the 1940’s. Pretty crazy ingredients! 😮
I agree with the one viewer about whole sale to Garden Centers. I would not make the same mistake that Martha Stewart. I feel she waited to long in the selling her brand in stores. Because she was established in Kmart. Then they went out of business. Then she switched to a different company, then they were not do8ng well. If it takes you a while to ramp into Garden Centers, then I would start now. That way, it will grow along with you. Even if you don't make a lot now. You are just trying ro establish your brand and Independent Garden Centers. I would do it for 3 to 5 years. If it starts to really take off, then you can up your prices and your display within Garden centers. Believe me, your fans are woman that are doing better than most. Are willing to spend the extra on you and yoir brand.
Regarding the question about Pickety pink gara, I am in zone six Michigan, and it has been growing strong for a few years in my garden. It does not appear to be dwindling in anyway, rather the plants have gotten bigger.
Proven Winners Online is taking preorders for the coming season. I was redirected to Garden Crossings to fulfill my order. Choose your delivery date. Free shipping on orders over $149. I’m 85 and “garden” in coastal Delaware on my 15×15, second level, full sun deck. Ordered mini vistas for hanging pots and marigolds to keep the squirrels off the deck. Also ordered impatience for my full shade front porch. Thanks Laura for inspiring me and so many others to garden where you are able to. Thumbs up for Benjamin and Samantha and all those who work to help you keep your gardens beautiful. 🤗
7:06 I have scent amplification and I smell every tiny little thing. It sometimes is the bane of my existence, but it has saved my neighbors a couple times, and some random strangers with burning vehicles at stop lights. I guess I smell smoke the easiest, but I do smell everything. Good and bad…. 😳😵💫
NEVER stop being yourself! You and your family truly make my day. I’m only halfway through this video, and I’ve already laughed out loud at least five times—I absolutely love it when you and Aaron film together! Thank you for being so transparent and sharing your journey with us. I also really admire how you handle negativity with such grace. Don’t let the 'not so nice' comments get you down; your light shines right through them. Pray for them and keep doing you!
God's blessings to you and family. Love your videos. What's your take on planting Desert Roses. Have ask questions before with no replies. Not sure if you see my response as I am Trinidad and Tobago.
You removed everything from the cut flower garden to redesign it for the formal flower garden at 22.06 but not sure if that is what the questioner is asking.
I could not imagine the negative comments you get. Why don't they just click off. Poor souls. My Mom watches with me and is quite concerned about the vine to your right. She thinks it needs help, you know like the one above her tv chair. LOL
The banter/sass or as Aaron calls it flirting was at a high today and I love it. I’m in Vancouver 🍁 and I can find PW plants. One nursery said we have other brands that are just as good and I said but PW is proven to be better especially when I want petunias.
I've had really good luck purchasing proven winners plants from Proven Winners Direct. They do an excellent job of packaging the plants and they arrive usually in pristine condition. I'm waiting now for their sale before I order!!
Anyone remember Laura saying “No berms! No boulders! No changes in our natural typography!!!” And then the pond came… so much for definitive pronouncements. Aaron for the win. Well done sir: a master class in patience, persuasion and perseverance in marriage.
The hair…… I honestly thought Aaron was going bald and that's why he wore a hat all the time😅 ❤ my dad was bald and my husband is too so I'm good with that so it was quite a surprise to see that beautiful hair
Hi guys you were taking about the wallnut tree I live in Ontario Canada and wallnut trees here are the last to get there leafs and the frist to lose them. And nothing grows around them very good and you have to be very careful when the walnuts are falling on a windy day the walnuts come down hard and in is not safe to be under the tree. Maybe it is diffrent were you are . But I would be careful. Bonnie
Hi Laura, as a fishing person my husband swears by barley straw gets rid of the algae, it releases natural chemicals as it decomposes, they use it in their pond/tarn once it starts
Please never leave your children, or anyone….adults included, alone in water. Not because of swimming ability but accidents can happen anywhere, anytime to anyone.

Condoms. Size extra small. 😬
You do not want walnut in a flower garden, nothing will grow under it.

Yes, I live in Ontario Canada as well. Almost all garden centres carry Proven Winners.

How about a chestnut tree.

Let's have a look outside!😊❤
Got my ornament yesterday! The echinacia is so pretty!

Laura don't forget about planting vinca.
In Ontario you find Proven winners plant stock at the Independent garden centres . I buy them there every spring.

Love the vertical Greenstalk I got from you. I have clay soil and deer so now I can have a small garden of veggies on my deck. Easy to grow with.
Do you need to take a course in order to raise bees?

Oooh Aaron, reading cookbooks. My parents have a library in their home. Started collecting 50+ years ago and never stopped.
The hair…… I honestly thought Aaron was going bald and that's why he wore a hat all the time😅 ❤ my dad was bald and my husband is too so I'm good with that so it was quite a surprise to see that beautiful hair
Aaron's analogy of offering plants to gardeners being akin to offering candy is priceless.

Bees – do you need to touch base with your neighbors in case any have anaphylactic allergies?
SHOUT OUT to Taylor for cracking me up with the editing when Laura is thinking about the word Aaron is talking about !!!😂😂😂😂

No smell, anosmia, it's me, hi, can't smell a thing
