Just picked up this big fiddle leaf fig for cheap. It has 3 separate growths in the pot. I noticed the soil was pretty damp and a bit loose when I picked it up and the lady said she just watered it. I realized the pot had no drainage holes when I got home and know these need good drainage, so I drilled a hole and this water just dumped out. Would it be fine to just drill some more holes around the base or is it better to repot it, maybe with some additional soil with better drainage too? I was wondering whether it might be worth checking out the roots since it had this much water sitting at the bottom

Definitely add drainage holes!! She is a beaut!
Id repot it with better soil. Too organic….and may lead to root rot
