  1. Oh my goodness. I was JUST thinking โ€œI hope Laura does another fruit tree video this year because I need some motivation and a refresherโ€. Yay! Thanks!

  2. Hi Laura, seeing how happy you are ๐Ÿค—is wonderful, being able to get projects completed early is so rewarding and like you said opens up more time for seeds and planting. All ready getting the itch but I have to wait till March 1st when the cabin site opens โ€ฆ.but that canโ€™t stop me dreaming and planning ๐Ÿ˜‚.
The trees look ready for finger crossed a bumper year.
    Take care xx xx xx

  3. QQQ: If you cut dead branches, etc that are showing signs of some sort of disease or unwanted pests, and you put those branches in a gator for removal, do you also disinfect the gator?

Sorry if this is a silly question.

The ratio sprayer is a cool and handy gadget to have there! I also love the arbor with apple trees. I look forward to seeing future growth on that.

I enjoy your videos so much!

  4. i start with the 4 D's – dead, diseased, damaged and DOWNWARD. Branches that are heading to the ground come out as well.

  5. Laura,
In my memory the trees along the fence of your neighbor to the south used to extend further west along that fence. Or am I just noticing that that's not the case since the new house construction on their lot? Secondly, just wondering what your plans for that area behind the orchard fence now that the new pole barn is finished and can store what was formerly behind the fence. More fruit trees or fruit bushes there or some conifers for greater privacy?

  6. This is so random, but I was watching the new episodes of Hometown last night. And I thought wouldnโ€™t it be exciting if Laura and Aaron got to meet Erin and Ben?! I probably sound silly, but it would be so exciting for me lol

  7. Question: what are your plans with the floor of the Mayle house? I think it would be an awesome opportunity to paint a cool design, but honestly, the possibilities are endless.

  8. Are these trees spaced for commercial growth? I would plant 5 more trees on each side. More variety and smaller trees are manageable.

  9. can we come with you to look for your mail house lamp? haha ๐Ÿ˜‚ its so fun to watch videos of you and your mom n sis shop for stuff

  10. Can that leaning fruit tree be adjusted using big augers and digging around it, not digging it up in total, but enough to fix the tilt?

  11. Does anyone know if the apple tree arch is a cattle panel or a metal arch (more expensive)? I'd like to see if a cattle panel is sturdy enough.

  12. Do the peach trees bloom on new wood because I think I cut off all the buds of last year, and do you cut off the branches that have buds too ?

  13. So question: when your spraying so much spray from one particular insecticide and you spray another one right on top of it without it even drying off or get a chance to do anything are you not washing off what you previously put on?

  14. I use dormant spray on my roses, too. But Im in 8b and some new growth is already starting. The spray will cause the new growth to shrivel and any leaves left on to fall off. Its o.k. they return.
Also your Bonide spray cap seemed to be leaking heavily from the hose connect and dripping. Most visable when the sun was behind you. It would drive me nuts dripping down my arm. Can it be tightened more. Otherwise I love this idea rather than a pump sprayer…๐Ÿ˜Š

  15. Regarding the leaning fruit tree, would you be able to use the large digging blade machine for mature trees to cut the roots in order to straighten the tree without removing it? ๐ŸŒณ

  16. As you drove down your gravel path, past your formal garden, I had visions of what it would look like with a pruned taxus hedge or some pleached trees as an inner hedge that parallels your arbor vitae hedge on the other side of the driveโ€ฆ.seems that would make it so cozy and snugged in and provide more privacy from your neighbours. Sounds spendy ๐Ÿ˜‚ I knowโ€ฆbut Iโ€™m not paying for itโ€ฆI can just dream. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Š

  17. I planted a very young Elberta peach tree about 5/6 feet tall this past fall, not many branches yet, but does have buds. Do you think I should spray my tree?

  18. I was so looking forward to you adding a small window box to the little mail building. Have you decided against putting one there or are you just waiting to find one that is the right size for it? As always, love your videos and always look forward to them each day! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  19. Wonderful instruction, dear Laura. So much needed. Huge THANKS to you and God bless you and your precious family.
