Robert Anderson, internationally known artist based in Sturgeon Bay, donated a Large Atomic Garden Kaleidoscope to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy a nonprofit organization that manages Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Canada. Anderson’s donation was made as a gesture of goodwill.

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy includes one of the finest botanical gardens in the world. It is a place where people share the wonders of nature in a way that inspires them to conserve it for the future. Anderson’s kaleidoscope will be displayed at The Leaf, an indoor horticultural attraction at the park, from March 27 – June 7.

Surrounded by approximately 30 acres of gardens and greenspace, The Leaf features stunning architecture and thousands of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant life flourishing in four unique indoor biomes. It features horticultural and interpretive displays, educational programs, special events, and interactive experiences to explore the human connection with plants and nature.
