Ive recently started collecting plants and as a result, seeing a bunch of gnats in my home. Im somewhat new to the plant world so Im not clear on certain things. I was told to buy sticky tabs to catch them but also mosquito bits to prevent larvae from hatching. Question How do I use it? The directions say add bits to water let them soak then add water to plants. So then How do I water with my fertilizer? Or do I do both?Water with fertilizer then Water with the anti gnat water, back to back? Or do I add actual bits to top soil?

For some insight Im in Austin TX, my plants are in a North facing room with a Large Bay window containing 4, 8ft windows in a 10 x 12ft room. Less than 10ft away is my large glass door with an 8ft narrow window next to it, so there is lots of natural bright indirect ambient light. Due to having so many plants, in this room I have 13, 10W Sansi grow lights and in the middle of the room I also have 2 multihead 96W Sansi grow lights, its pretty bright. I have 4 different kinds of Pothos, 5 different philodendrons, 3 different Monsteras, 4 types of spider plants and am propagating approx 3 spiderettes & 40 pothos cuttings. If f anyone can give me some direction on how to use this product without skipping my fertilizing Id appreciate it.

  1. Steep it like a tea and then strain it out ( at least 30 min). Use a mesh bag to make it easier. Water your plants with the tea.

This stuff always works for me. Good luck!

Sometimds fungus gnats just come, but usually is a sign of something being over watered. Sometimes theyre good indicators to let things dry up more.
