Glad it’s stuck with you for so long! I have a Mauna Loa too! The slow growth is a blessing! So many plants sold as indoor plants want to take over your space!
If you did want it to grow faster, you could always give it a dedicated plant light and put it in a warm area free from drafts. Mine that is in ambient grows much slower than the one I have growing in a dedicated greenhouse
