A man was injured in a fall at TD garden on Saturday, and another person was arrested following an investigation.
Boston police say officers assigned to detail for the Bruins game responded around 3:07 p.m. for a report of a male who had fallen in the balcony level of the arena.
Boston EMS responded to the scene, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to police.
Police said they could not confirm the exact circumstances that led to the victim’s injuries, however, police did say the injuries stemmed from an altercation with another individual, who was subsequently arrested.
Police haven’t released the name of the person who was taken into custody, or said what charges they are facing. It’s also unclear what the two were fighting about, and if they were known to each other. Additional information from police was expected later Saturday.
NBC10 Boston has reached out to TD Garden for comment but has not heard back yet.
