My large seemingly healthy Aloe Vera has black spots

I received this part of a larger specimen from a relative. It appears quite healthy but the spots are worrisome. I cannot scratch them off. I used alcohol on a q-tip but didn’t remove the larger ones. No effect on them. The smallest ones I think it thinned them. It’s now planted in a clay pot with good drainage. I waited 8 days after potting for its first light watering. Followed up by a second one about a week later. Soil is part cacti-succulent soil, sand, perlite with about 1” or less small gravel in bottom and same about 2” or less on top of soil. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
