Hello, I need help. I feel like I'm not doing my compost pile right. I put grass clippings, dead leaves, and some vegetable and fruit scraps. But I feel like something's missing or I didn't add enough of something. Can you guys please let me know thank you! This is my first compost pile.

Seriously, urine will help the process. You should also keep adding to it, it doesn’t look very big. Keep adding lots of browns like cardboard, leaves and clippings. Keep adding your kitchen scraps too. It’s compost so it’s going to breakdown and get gross. But mostly just keep pissing!
It needs a liquid of whatever variety pleases you to get the party going but you literally cannot do this wrong. I would suggest taking a scoopful of dirt from the ground and throw it in there to further the party.
Does your bin have any holes in the bottom? It needs a few for drainage or it could get gloppy and souy. But other than that, try to keep your browns to greens ratio sorta right, keep adding to it, and don’t worry about being precise.
