Posted this directly in /monstera as well – but maybe better here?

I have an Albo that I was/am convinced had Thrips.

I've isolated it along with another plant. I've researched and researched on what to look for, how to kill pests.

I've cleaned. I've sprayed, I've done all the things.

I know that until systemic pesticides get delivered, the eggs should still hatch? I think I might see two on the last two pictures, but poking at them scientifically it doesn't seem like bugs.

So why am I not seeing bugs?

First spray 1/3/26 – with Captain Jack's

Second Spray 1/6/26 – Captain jacks + DE in the soil + watering with silica

Thoughts?

You sprayed it to death. It’s a fungal and/or bacterial infection of the leaves.

Try some captain jack’s copper fungicide.

Almost lost all of mine to a few leaves with orange rust

I stripped plant sprayed outside And sprayed with a fungus spray to many times and hand. Wiped leaves of rust

    Best of luck
