I was gifted a beautiful baby spider plant from my colleague to try my hand at some indoor plants.
I have historically not had a good time with plants, but I've had this one for 4 months now and I actually think its been my husbands over-tending that has been the problem all along!

Anyway, I think my little spider plant is thriving, and I'm eager to expand while I'm confident.
Any recommendations for plant number 2?
Or any tell me if I'm oblivious to anything wrong/not quite there with my plant please. Total beginner, humble and willing to learn.

Attached a pic of my lovely plant that will be moving to a bigger pot this week (I called her Wendy 😅).

  1. Snake plant! And Dracaena marginata! These two seem super easy to care for.

My snake plants soil is so dry its cracked up dust but it thrives with it. I only water it once a month. When I tried keeping it like other indoor plants its leaves went mushy and fell off.

My dracaena also likes to be fairly dry but its so big now it gets a bit of water weekly.
