you overeatered it unfortunately… The pot seems really big for it and when you buy plants they usually come in a biom that holds onto too much water. Dont water it until it’s 2/3 dry and repot it into a smaller pot with chunky soil, hopefully it’ll help *fingers crossed*

A new leaf is sprouting which means its sorting itself out after the transplant. If your climate is right your plant will fill that pot with roots in no time.
Your plant will loose the oldest leaves when new ones appear and replace them.

Don’t worry, banana plants slow down their growth below 25 degrees Celsius; unless there’s root rot, new shoots will sprout from the base of the stem.

does it stay outdoors? maybe it’s too cold? from my experience they love warm temperatures (over 20°c) and a lot of light. yeah, the pot is too big, but i don’t think it’s a main problem
