So I bought this ZZ Raven plant last year and at first it was doing well but I probably watered it too frequently and the rhizomes got mushy and the leaf stalks dropped one by one. Anyway I've propagated it from leaves and the leaves are mostly gone now and new rhizomes have formed which I've since repotted into their individual small pots with some gritty well draining soil (5-1-1 mix for citrus, what I had handy at the time). One overzealus tiny little dude has already spruted but grown much. What I am uncertain about is if I should water the rhizomes before the have sprouted. If yes I wonder how much and how frequently I should water them. I can imagine that they don't even need much water a) being an African plant and b) having stored lots of water in the rhizomes.
Can anyone help me out how to properly care for ZZ rhizomes so that they will not die and sprout eventually?
