Premiere at 8:30am and 9:00am Saturday! They are not linked, so plan to jump from the Wild Turkey video to this one. See you soon! It's all about nature tomorrow!
Hello, can't wait to see you,and Hello everyone xx
Your forest is beautiful. It looks like it was harvested for timber maybe 15 or 20 years ago. Some clean up of the smaller trees would create a great floor. Have you seen any videos of the bobcat wood chipper that chews up scrub and rotting trees, turning them into chips and mulch. It's amazing how quickly they transform the woods. You have a treasure of decayed trees that would feed raised beds and wild mushrooms.
Liked "everything has a vibration." That is not lost. It contributes to the resonance of our planet. It would be fun to imagine how that could play out in God's master plan.
You need to hire a forestry mulcher to clear and establish your trail system. They do an amazing job
I love walking our forest this time of year. We have a ton of downed trees too, here and North and in Charleston. Not a good year for the trees 😮
Guess what?! Ticks are still out! Found one on my dog last week, so be careful and check yourself every time you walk in the woods. Love the trail walk and talk.
Alvin Conway has been collecting data over the last twenty+ years of all the changes in our environment, from animal migrations to plant die-off. Our trees are suffering from these weather extremes.
On the bright side, that is a lot of fire wood if you can get it cut up before it rots. ❤
Thank you kaye
There has been an Elm Tree die off over the last 10 or more years?
It cost about 1500 dollars to have a large tree down and cleaned up. I'm not sure what they would charge to just clean up from a tree that is already down. We had too have 7 trees cut down about a year and a half ago. My husband did the sawing and clean up, it cost 700 each tree that they downed, one of the trees was close to the neighbors property and had to be downed onto their property because of its position. To get that tree cleaned up in a timely manner it cost 1500 dollars, the neighbor paid 500 of it since it was closer to their property line. Put us back quite a bit!
