Calendula, Dahlia, Candytuft, Oriental poppy – My favourite radially symmetric bloom of this year of rediscovery

All found during my return to neighbourhood walks, after a decade virtually housebound:

1. Calendula
2. Dahlia – these are so varied and robustly pretty.
3. Edging Candytuft
4. Oriental poppy (seed pod, stigmatic Disc, stamen)

I have barely had the energy to go for a walk up my parent's lovely garden, since a previous remission in 2013 tapered off.
