Good day,
I have a pine tree that i planted 2 years ago. It is pinus parviflora if i remember correctly. Due to heavy winds and flying objects a part of a small branch on it broke, normally i wouldnt think much of it, but this break doesnt look good at all. It left quite a deep hole maybe 4mm deep and im afraid it will pool water and cause further damage.
Does anyone have any ideas of what if anything needs to be done with this damage? I have 0 experience with this (so pls explain it like you would a child) and dont have anything required for tree repair on hand, but can buy if necessary.
I live in Norway, it is below freezing now, but generally the temperatures throughout winter are -10 to +5C and it is expected to be warm now with maybe some rain.
Thank you
