These are my 4 month old hybrid seedlings – some germinated later than others. They are in fine grain seed starter and I can see that some will start to get crowded soon. At what point are they large enough to transplant to a "normal" medium? A few are at 4-5 sets of true leaves.

You can transplant them at true leaf stage.. so to be safe 2 or 3 sets of true leaves is plenty. Really, you just want some roots on each plant.

The ones in the lower cup are good to transplant. The upper cup – I’ve transplanted some of the ones like the larger ones in there but be careful and keep soil moist. If you’re worried then wait on those.
