That’s a crazy mutation! It’s a bit like when a conifer develops witch’s broom and people cut it off to make tiny dwarf trees with many branches. Very cool and hopefully it’s persistent throughout the growth cycle so you can make unique cuttings and name this as your very own cactus variety.

I really want to see this cloned! This might be worth sending to someone who does tissue cloning and seeing if this is possible to replicate. If so, it’s a San Pedro fairy castle!!!
