I usually just do landscaping but worked in the tree industry for a few years. So I have a pretty good idea how long it'll take with a bandit tracked grinder. Top of the stump is approx 2' x 4' so I'll have to grind probably 4×6 maybe bigger. Curb and sidewalk will complicate things a little. Finished with top soil and seed think I'm at $1500. That sounds about right?

Edit: definitely getting a locate

Lol good luck getting the job at that price. Where I’m at that would be like $600-$800 not including the soil/seed (we don’t do that so no idea what that costs).

And yes I second what another commenter says about locating. You’re right by the curb so definitely worry about utilities.

Planning on removing all the grinding debris also? That’s going to be a large mound.

If you could pull that scam off that would be sick. Sell on brother

Wow $1500 to grind a stump??

I get that the road and sidewalk are complicating factors, but it’s about a 20 minute job, right? I had some stumps ground a few years ago and I think the guy charged me $75. I understand inflation and costs have increased but $1500, hey if you can get it good for you but I’d just burn the stump first.

  5. That stump would make a great planter for a few years.
