This TPM needs soil. I can't move it or repot by myself easily so I'm going to break the pot and build another pot around it with rocks.

The bottom of the pot will still be there but I bet the roots will find their way to soil.

My biggest concern is the greenhouse has a layer of thick clear plastic then a layer of thick black mesh, weed barrier or whatever.

I'm wondering how far around the rootball I take up the plastic and mesh. Seems like it would promote nasty soil if not removed.

The soil below is sandy loam and clay mixture.

Guess I'll play it by ear. Hopefully this is the first of many that hit soil this year.

HBWR, kratom trees, banana and cactus will all have roots in soil for the first time by spring. Little nervous not gonna lie!
