Would it be okay to use sphagnum instead of water in these?

I have zero experience with propagation, and I currently have two cuttings in water. I would like to move them into sphagnum moss.

Would it be okay to use sphagnum moss in these containers, given they have no drainage holes?

    Absolutely, great idea. Make sure it’s really squeezed out so it doesn’t rot the plant.
