So the question is why wouldn’t you train your mutant penis cactus when it don’t know any better than to grow into itself some time, piercing its own flesh? I’ve had lots of success doing this in the first past by spreading apart cactus soil that a hidden pup can flourish. The neat thing is when you take the rock out it’s trained not to go back. This also helps get light down to more areas but the technique could be improved by using polished glass rocks to that the light also passes through!

Polished glass might do the magnifying glass thing and burn a hole if the sun hits it right.
This is really cool though and try and mess around with training plants around the property for fun experiments

I do that with one of my monstros and I use a red solo cup that I can slowly move from the narrow end to the large end if needed, or crush it a little bit to fit.
LST on cactus is new to me.
