Balsam hills have nativity sets. I ordered one this year. It's beautiful but a little pricey. After a discount around 300.00
Buy that baby girl a sewing machine! (Maybe in a couple of years 😂). If she is in a creative mind space, sewing is a great outlet for that.

My daughter did competition gymnastics for 10 years, 3rd grade through high school graduation. It’s great exercise and she learned a lot of life lessons! Gymnastics is expensive but they exercise and more importantly there are no boys at the gym 😁
For the silver ornaments, how about plating them in white gold?
I have a thank you note from Susan after I sent her a book on the Presidents' gardens . She wrote me that she has always been interested in all the presidents regardless of party and enjoys collecting the official White House ornaments. I think it is an amazing collection.
Most good quality silver jewelry has rhodium plating over the sterling to prevent tarnishing. Not sure if that’s something that could be done with ornaments as well.
We eat our gingerbread house, well the kids mostly now! We do not use glacing instead we use melted sugar. The are made from scratch and close to Christmas and then after Christmas we have a Destroy the Ginger house party. All the small children comes (twinkles in their eyes) with a hammer and at the count of three they get to use the hammer on the house. The house is decked with candy and glacing so if you like sugary things then it is good to eat!
Your nativity set is by studio 56. I used to collect a lot of their miniature houses. My set that I collected was the Christmas Carol.
Sure would like to see pictures of the things Samantha has created. Laura and Aaron you two are so good about letting the children be around when you are working, in the midst of a project and the kids are using their imaginations.
