I apologize. Those are asters. They will cover whatever you don’t mow. They are usually native (depending on region) and are great for pollinators. I have calico asters just like those. Basically beneficial “weeds”.

Hard to say when you’re zoomed so far out, but I’d imagine it’s some kind of aster. Native flower, good for pollinators.

American aster, Symphyotrichum sp. I think it’s specifically [S. ericoides](https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/126654-Symphyotrichum-ericoides/browse_photos) (white heath aster). They are fall bloomers, and blooming like crazy in TX right now!
Seconding, Symphyotrichum eircoides grows everywhere here in Ontario too.
