I got this money tree about a month ago and it’s already looking rough. For the most part, I keep my apartment at the temperature I researched that they can thrive in (about 67 degrees, occasionally we open a window if we made something smokey like bacon or something gets charred on a pan and starts producing smoke) and it’s not directly below any vents. I put the humidifier on about once a week but only water it once every two weeks (let me know if that’s incorrect because the research I did was very general). Any tips or advice for saving its life would be appreciated!!

Once I started keeping it consistently moist, my money tree got better. But I am no expert here.

  2. Hey but what about the elephant in the room, that big tan robotic guy?

From what I have seen on some other posts, these plants can sometimes have rubber bands in the soil/roots to keep them in this shape. So remove that IF there is one. Two, check for pests. Three, just give it a little bit more time, keep the soil moist and give it decent light.

I’ve found mine is very dramatic. I’ve had it for a long no time and it’s always come back.

Mine always gets dramatic in the colder months even losing some leaves, they are known for doing this. They always come back and perk up in the spring. It’s kinda like they hibernate for the winter.
