Collected these over the last year and a half, and some late in the fall, and I want to keep them healthy through the West TX winter. Some still need roots. Some are still very young.

I don’t have a lot of money for nice tents and all that, and I have to be frugal as times are hard. I used R-Tech insulation w/the reflective coating to bounce light around. The top is open but can be covered. I also have a large heating pad I can put under the towel, and a small space heater, and a humidifier if needed. I keep my place very cool in the winter, and usually direct heat toward the room I am in if it is extremely cold out. I’d rather pile on clothes than dry myself out, and I run hot all the time so the space the plants are in stays 65-69 degrees. I also have a small desk fan if necessary.

I grabbed a shower curtain liner for another layer and also my house gets dusty. The Light specs are included. The stronger lamp is up top. The smaller one is in the middle. I also have extra shelves I have not used but would like to add some small ghost plant propagations if possible, just don’t know where or if my placement needs dialing in, and if I could even put small props in there.

Basically, I just want to keep them going through the winter out here in the Chihuahuan Desert, and at least healthy til March/April as February out here is our coldest time.

Thanks in advance.

I really love your set up. I am also in Texas. I just leave my plants outside.

65 is plenty warm. They might even like some water once in a while at that temp. Just make sure the humidity stays in check and they have some airflow. Stagnant air leads to pest and fungal issues.
