My first AV and it seems to be a success so far. Seems like it needs repotting or thinning but I am afraid of changing what I have been doing out of fear of killing it. Any advice?

Learn how to propagate leaves. That way you can have ‘insurance’ and make repotting less stressful. BTW, that’s a very nice plant.
It’s developed extra plants that are now the same size as the original
To separate them I would wait until flowers fade. Them unpot and you can look from sides and underneath and see the places were gaps define the difference between the plants.
