Donkey tail- they like full sun, well draining soil. Water thoroughly when dry. Make sure there is a drainage hole in your pot. One of my fav plants!

Bright light and very infrequent watering. Like once every 2 months in winter and maybe once a month in summer but still probably less unless your soil is very well draining.
I mostly ignored mine in the corner for years and it looked great.

That burro tail is not going suck you dry of your energy. Only Alocasias do that.

That burros tail has clearly been sitting in that exact spot and not moved for years to look that good. I swear if I even breathe near mine it drops bits everywhere. I repotted it once and nearly tossed the whole thing out
