Finally some good fall colors on this J. Maple

Had some colder temps this last week and this big Japanese maple has finally turned. The outer leaves have a nice deep red, but the layer underneath has soft yellows and oranges, and under that is a layer that still has green. It's quite lovely.

This is actually the back of the tree, but the color was better on that side. I will repot it into a better pot this winter – glazed, shallower, width maybe a little less.
