This girl has been in bloom for many months and the flowers are going over. Everything I read is about how to get the plants healthy and make them bloom, bit inevitably flowers must die. Do I just trim them off and relagate the plant to a "not in bloom right now" shelf? She has fresh soil, I do a soil change out on the spring and fall equinoxes.

After an African violet blooms, you should deadhead spent flowers by plucking or cutting them off at the base to encourage new blooms. Or just trim the individual spent flowers to enjoy the flowering longer. Since you already repotted just continue providing the right care, such as bright, indirect light, consistent watering and monthly fertilization. Trimming away dead or damaged leaves also helps promote new growth. And yes it will be all leaves for awhile since it needs to grow new leaves to flower again but some varieties can flower continously year-round.Disclaimer: Im no expert but this is just from my experience growing my AVs. Hope this helps🤗.
