Master Gardner John Taylor addressed Greenville Lions Club members at the group’s Monday, Nov. 17, meeting and described his recent move to Butler County. Taylor and his wife Danice Kemp are recent graduates of The Butler County Extension Master Gardner program and have completed 50 hours of community service.

Taylor chose to focus his time on a project assisting The Butler County Sheriff’s Office with an inmate garden. The effort provides fresh produce to inmates.

The Greenville Lions Club meets weekly on Monday for lunch at Beeland Park. Anyone interested in joining should contact Ricky Cargile at (334) 662-8398.
