I just got this from the grocery store too – two for the price of one -$4.99 for 2. It was white when I bought it ! Yours is gorgeous like a pinwheel of stunning color .
Clip a leaf near the middle/bottom of the plant (not the oldest leaf, but maybe one tier up). Ensure that the stem on the leaf is at least 1”-2” in length.
Using a small cup or bud vase, submerge the bottom half of the stem in water. Keep in an area with low light and in a couple of weeks it should begin to root.
Once you have about 1” of roots, plant in a very small container (nursery pots are ideal) using violet soil. Be sure to plant it shallowly, so it doesn’t take much effort for the new growth to break through the soil.
Bright indirect light is best, but I give my clippings a couple hours of dappled direct sunlight and they are thriving! Also highly recommend using filtered or distilled water for your violets. They’re such divas. Good luck, friend!
