I love your Medusa! I named my ponytail palm Madonna.

I do! Only some are named, I want to eventually come up with names for all of them!
African spear plant – the last remaining spike from the original plant is Damocles, and all his pups are the Sons of Damocles
I have two ripple jades sharing a pot, Stalwart and Bulwark; because Stalwart is the sturdiest little succulent ever, and Bulwark needed to match
An echiveria hybrid “elfstone” – named Mama because she keeps putting out babies
A group of mother of thousands pups, Helena, short for “hell in a cell” because they’re in a high-walled glass jar to prevent invasions once they grow up
I love Medusa and her pot!

I, um, ask them their names, then go with what pops into my head. Sometimes it’s “Um, you know names are really a human thing, right?” But sometimes they have definite opinions…
The variegated trailing sedum? “Hi, I’m Maeve, and I’m coming home with you tonight.” Oh. Kay. Welcome, Maeve.
The mystery dracaena I just picked up on clearance? I said, “What’s your name, honey?” Plant…”Honey is fine.” ID’d it…it’s a Sansevieria Hahnii. Smh.
Then there’s Big J, Friendly, Snakey, Gary (the parlour palm, idk), Claude, and my curly spider plant is def The Gorgon…
This *is* r/crazyplantpeople, right?

I name mine. I have a lacy aloe named Alice. I have a zebra haworthia named Portia. She recently fell into several pieces while I was repotting her, so I now have Portabella and Portico.
