African Violet prop

I had an African Violet aiven to me bv someone I loved dearlvy, so, its sentimental. When I replanted, one of the leaved cracked. which i didn't think much of. Luckilv. I left it in place. Fast forward, that leaf began to grow a whole new plant- both on the leaf AND in the pot! I'd never seen that before. So, I dug it up & repotted (pics of leaf & new plant & mother plant included). Ive babied that plant & leaf- and today, noticed the "plant leaf"' was wilted! Sa sad! I chopped it & added it to a shot glass with water Anv chance it will prop? I prop those in water quite successfully- but never from a wilting leaf. I just want to aive it the BEST chance.
