Came home to find my burrows tail had fallen off the shelf. The plant got too heavy for its light plastic pot. Devastating way to start the weekend.

Now you get to try and prop the whole plant and start again with every successful baby. It’s super sad, but in 3-5 years, you’ll have so many you won’t know what to do with them.

Looks you’re gonna need quite a few cute new pots.

I just made such a loud distressed sound my partner panicked! I’m so sorry 🥺

  4. I immediately assumed there was a cat involved.

OMG, I thought a cat got it. I’m so sorry! Hopefully, you will be able to save some of it. Sending good growing vibes!

Prop the cuttings! They still look alive – you can definitely save them!

  7. Omg my sympathies! I knocked mine over with my butt😭

I had my burrows tail and string of pearls outside for a week and saw squirrels and rats eating them 🙃 very delicate and delicious plants apparently…sorry for the loss!! Maybe try to root them?

Oh no 😭 I’m so sorry! That’s frustrating beyond belief. I hope everything roots and sprouts easily and you find yourself with even more stems. I know they’re slow growing, but you’ll get there again.

Propagation begins! Your 1 plant will now overwhelm all your shelves. I know it’s sad. I would be too. But now it will bring more joy.

One time I dropped mine and somehow only 3 plopped off. But then I very gently repotted it and a gazillion came off…

Aww, so sorry. Can’t those be propagated? If so, it would be more like it rained babies!

  13. Zubeida_Ghalib

On the plus side, you have a lot of propagations now 😅

So sorry! My first thought though was, cats? 😆

My condolences… however, I see lots of pieces that are still intact that you can repot. Mine was damaged from 2 moves in 3 years (some strands were 2-3 ft long) so I replanted what was left into several smaller pots and they are all thriving a year later. FWIW, I keep mine in hanging pots to keep anything from touching it. Here’s one of my transplants 😊

  16. Man.  I accidentally bumped mine and it dropped pods like shattered legos…  On the plus side, we just tossed them in a new pot and had some fun with it

    Props. Props everywhere!

You can throw all of that on top of some soil in a sturdier pot and it will continue to flourish!

  19. My condolences; I lost 6 of my 7 Carolina Reaper plants over the past few months. I have 1 left barely holding on!

That’s just what I call aggressive propagation techniques

That’s a lot of new burrow tails you’ve got yourself!!!!! Throw it all on some dirt and it’ll get even better

I’m so sorry, the image pains me a lot🥺
