Hey y’all! I’ve been propagating some peperomia mendoza leaves in water for a while and they recently put out some new baby leaves! It’s my first time propagating peperomias, so I’m hoping to get some advice on when I should transfer them to soil. The root systems seem pretty decent, but my instinct is to wait until the new leaves are bigger so they’re more resilient. I’d also appreciate any tips on how to transfer them successfully without them rotting, since I’ve had that problem with other propagations in the past.
Ps. Pepper is my cat’s name, for anyone wondering 🙂

i’m also curious, i’ve had trouble transitioning to soil in the past despite what i thought was a robust root system
I’m on my 2nd round of water props. Letting the baby leaves get a more robust before I transfer. First time around I transferred to soil and the baby leaves looked liked they melted away.
I can’t help but those are adorable!💚
