this is some sort of scam. i dont remember the motive. burn them or throw them away. If they’re from china they could be carrying disease. Anyway, they almost look like grape seeds. What the heck.

Burn them or turn them over to your local natural resources dept. DO NOT PLANT THEM. Chances are almost 100% they are not native to your area and have a risk of harboring invasive pests as well. If you order something from temu or Ali baba or some discount retailer like that they will send random things, often seeds, so that there is a delivery ticket that they can then use to prove you did in fact receive your xxxxxx that you ordered. My ex got a screaming deal on a kitchenaid stand mixer, she paid $75 for it. 6 months later she received a random piece of costume jewelry and the “mixer” showed delivered. They will also send stuff to random addresses for the same reasons.

Brushing scam. They used the delivery to your house to be able to post a five star review somewhere for a product you didn’t order or receive. You should report this with whomever delivered the package to you

Brushing scam. Often accompanied by some form of identity theft, credit card theft, or both. Check your accounts!

These look like hemp seeds apart from the long, thin one that’s by itself at the top of the pack. Almost certainly not the “drug” type, since, you know, those are worth good money. These are probably functionally birdseed that was sent as a brushing scam as mentioned by other users.

Please report them to your nearest USDA APHIS PPQ office or state agricultural department. This is and has been an ongoing issue and those seeds are likely full of federally noxious weeds and other invasive junk. It’s suggested to double bag, duck tape, and place in the freezer until you can be instructed on how/where to properly dispose or destroy them

  7. It’s a brushing scam. Contact your closest USDA SPHD office and they’ll give you guidance on proper destruction

I work for USPS. Over the last year we have seen a wild uptick in these types of scams. Most of the time its for a good address with a made up name. We flag them now and destroy or RTS them. We try NOT to deliver them.

  9. ABSOLUTELY BURN THEM. Contact your states Department of Agriculture if you need help or concerns.

Plant them and find out. Sounds like an adventure.

China has been mailing out stuff like this all over the country. They even had people carry invasive spores into the country to be released near farms. Burn those seeds.
