We moved into a new house and there were a few abandoned potted plants in the garden.

The one with the thick green ridged stems was in full sun and very dried out and yellowed. It seems to like a shadier spot and lots of water. It is slowly going greener and has put out nodes at the ends. I thought perhaps some sort of Euphorbia but I can't find pictures of one similar. It isn't spiky or fleshy (this might be because it's still very dry though.)

Should I cut off all the dead bits? A few of the bits that are green seem to be damaged, some sort of fungus or disease or just left over from when it wasn't getting water?

I wanted to use the blue pot for something else but wasn't sure what was already growing in it. Any help identifying these two would be awesome, thank you.

It’s some type of orchid. Cut dead dried stuff off but not anything green. Keep in soil that is porous and drains easily. Should put out new growth. The bloom will come from the new growth.
