I'm curious to get thoughts on mushroom grow tents (aka Martha tents or BoomRooms). Are all you indoor plant growers into them, hate them, never heard of them? Anyone try growing mushrooms and plants together in a Martha tent/boomroom before? Thanks for your insight 🙂

It’s a nice hobby, but why not just use an ikea glass cabinet like they do for anthuriums etc.?
Looks very good. Which filter do you use to filter spores?
Is that a mesh, HEPA or something else?
I’m not a fan unless you have a solid HEPA air filter in the room. People should worry more about spores in their lungs.
Growing mushrooms is much more involved and requires a lot more equipment than just the tent (I’d argue the tent is the simplest part of the process), if you’re really interested I’d recommend checking out shroomery.org & looking for the tek (cool kid word for technique) section or maybe youtube. You can certainly get some mushroom starter kits that will be easy and fun to watch fruit, but to grow at the scale that you’d want a tent of that size you are going to be doing lots of hands on lab work
I always wanted to do this, but its kinda jarring to start and i worry about spores and such.
