Not sure what to do for next season. Will likely have to cut it back.

Beautiful. Is that one plant or four? Did you get any side shoots? Did you cut it?

Beautiful plant!! I’d prune off about half the height — then you’ll have 6 new plants to propagate and the mother plant will fork and you’ll end up with an even fuller plant in a year or two!

This is stunning. Did you notch towards the bottom of the stems trunk to get to branch out like this? I have a Ruby Elastica I’d love to get like this but I’m scared to cut or notch it.

Amazing growth. I only have one stalk and it’s only starting to grow new nodes or branches now. Many ppl would give $$ for the four long healthy ficus you have here!

Holy moly what the heck have you been feeding that? I’ve had 3 leaves grow this year on mine haha

  9. What would’ve happened if you didn’t stake them?

Amazing. It really likes its environment.

How do you get these plants to survive? I’ve had at least 2 and the leaves fall off

I don’t like ficus that much, but you really made it work. It looks truly beautiful.
